How can I see examples of zoominator animations?
Check out @ZoominatorApp or #zoominator on Instagram

How can I post to Instagram?
Tap the share button and look for the Instagram icon. If you don't see it, tap the ... more button on the far right and enable Instagram. If you try to share with Instagram and it fails, save the animation, open Instagram and post it from your saved Photos Library.

Why does "Save video" not appear as a sharing option?
Animations are automatically saved in your Photos Library the first time you choose a sharing destination. So, if you have already sent once, there is no need to save again. Alternatively, if the ending view is identical to the starting view, there is no need for video, and it will say "Save image" instead.

How can I delete saved animations?
Open the iOS Photos app and you will find any saved animations in the "Zoominator" album. If you don't want to automatically save animations, open the Settings and turn off "Autosave sent videos".

How do I create a transparent overlay effect?
Choose a starting view and hit the check mark. Then tap the filter that shows 2 overlapping circles. Pinch and move the transparent image to get the right effect and then tap the check mark.

How can I make an animation begin with a transparent overlay?
Open the Settings view and switch "Animate in reverse" to on. When this switch is on, you can choose the ending view first. Then follow instructions as above.

How can I remove unwanted filters?
To restore original image colors, tap the filter on the farthest left. To remove a shape distortion, tap near the center of the distortion to select it, then dial the "height" or "depth" to zero. To remove text, tap the text so the keyboard opens, then hit backspace. Or just hit the checkmark once or twice to discard everything and start over.

How can I save a still image?
Choose the starting view as you want it to appear, and then tap the check mark twice without making any changes. There is currently no way to save a transparent overlay as a still image.

How can I add text or emoji's to view?
Tap the Text filter to open the keyboard and begin typing. Drag anywhere on the image to reposition the text or emoji. Dial the color and size you wish. Tap anywhere away from the text to close the keyboard.

How can I animate text or emoji's?
If you add text or an emoji to the ending view, it will automatically fade in during the animation. To animate the size or position, add it to the starting view, and hit the check mark to go on to the ending view. Then tap on the text to re-open the keyboard and adjust the size or position. If you change the text content, the original text will fade out during animation and the new will fade in. You cannot animate a change in color.

How can I position a bump effect?
Whenever the "Radius" and "Height" thumb wheels are showing it means a bump is selected. Drag anywhere on the image to change its position. If the bump you want to move is not selected, tap near the center of it.

How can I reposition the image when the bump controls are showing?
Drag with 2 fingers. Or, tap outside the bump to unselected the bump and remove the controls.

How can I animate the shape or position of a bump?
If you add a bump to the ending view, it will automatically start flat and animate into the final size you chose. If you add a bump to the starting view, you can either have it move to another position and size in the final view, or have it animate to flat. To make it move, just hit the check mark for the starting view and then tap on the bump to select it and reposition in the final frame. To make it animate to flat, dial the height to zero.

Can I add more than one filter to a view?
You can add as many bumps, holes or text overlays as you want to a single view, but only one color filter. Each color filter you add will replace the previous one.

Why can't I reselect text to make changes to it?
If you add a bump or hole filter, it will apply to any text already present and that text can no longer be changed. If you add text after a shape distortion filter, it is not effected by the filter and you can make changes to it.

How can I add animations to a video?
Open the Settings and make sure "Enable video input" is On. You should then seen any existing videos mixed in with your saved photos. Choose one to animate, or tap the Camera icon in upper right corner to record a new video. Hit the zoominator button to pause the video and begin editting. Spin the thumbwheel forward or backward to choose where the video output should begin. Then pan, zoom and add effects just like a photo. Hit the checkmark when you are done. Then spin the thumbwheel to where you want the video to end, adjust the pan/zoom/effects and hit the check mark again to complete.

How can I add more complicated animations to photos or videos?
You can create more complicated animations by adding up to 6 intermediate "anchor points" between the starting and ending view. The animation will then proceed in multiple steps, from each anchor point to the next. To do this, first go to Settings and make sure "Enable multi-stage animation" is On. Then, instead of choosing an ending view immediately after the starting view, you will have a choice to choose either "another" view or the "final" view.

How can I control the transparency level in an overlay?
Open the Settings and make sure "Show Transparency Control" is on. In that case, a transparency dial will appear whenver you choose the overlay filter.

How can I adjust the animation speed?
Open the Settings and make sure "Show Speed Control" is on. In that case, a slider will appear after the animations plays once. Move it faster or slower and hit replay to see the effect.
